Bought two helmets off this LIAR. He said they were on sale(1/2 off) and threw in two \"free\" sets of goggles. I found out the next morning I paid retail for everything after doing some research. Dumb me, should have done my homework before made the purchase. Anyway I went back the day after I made the purchase and requested a refund. I never used the helmets and they were still in the box. He offered store credit. I refused because of principle, he lied to me and I was very overt with that fact. I even showed him the retail price from a different vendor and he told me I was wrong. Really?, He stated his policies and I rebutted with his polices. This jackwagon said the helmets were on sale with a no refund policy. He never stated that the day I bought them nor was there a disclaimer written anywhere, reciept etc.... We went back and forth and then he asked me to read his return policy poster on the register counter. I read it aloud,funny, I met all the requirements to get my money back but he still refused to refund. I embarrased him in front of his employees and again just offered store credit offer. WTF? Now I\'m pissed. This guy claims to be a veteran. I am active duty and know we don\'t train our Sailors and Soldiers past or present to LIE. I told him he was a horrible businesman among other things and asked if he could conciously accept that he knowingly lied and continued to lie even after I showed him physical proof. His answer was simple, yes... What a POS!!! Filed with BBB today. Don\'t do business with these guys. They are overpriced and will lie to get your $.
I HAD BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS FOR FIVE YEARS, BOUGHT AN ASSTON OF ACCESORIES, BOUGHT A BRUTEFORCE 750 WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT, I BROUGHT MY SONS 07 RMZ450 TO THEM ON 2/12/10 FOR A TOP END ON THE BIKE, THEY CONVINCED ME TO GO WITH OEM PARTS VERSUS AFTERMARKET BECAUSE THEY COULD WARRANTY THE WORK AND PARTS FOR 30 DAYS, THEY WERE GREAT ON WORKING WITH ME ON THE COST OF PARTS, ENDED UP COSTING APPROX. $1900. GOT BIKE BACK APPROX. 3/2/10, MY SON PUT 7 HRS ON IT AND ENGINE LET GO ON 3/11/10, BROUGHT IT BACK ON 3/12/10, THEY SERVICE DEPT. LOOKED AT IT, FIRST I WAS TOLD THE PLUG WAS FOULED OUT AND THEY WOULD ORDER IT, THEN THEY LOOKED INTO IT FURTHER AND FOUND WATER IN THE OIL WHEN THEY DRAINED IT, UPON FURTHER INSPECTION BY THEM, THE FOUND ONE OF THE INTAKE VALVE SHIMS HAD POPPED OUT AND WAS PREVENTING THE VALVE FROM CLOSING, ALSO THE NEW VALVE WAS RUINED AT THE SPRING RETAINER/SPRING COTTER AREA, LOOKED LIKE IT WAS FILED ON ONE SIDE. THE SERVICE DEPT TOLD ME IT WAS BECAUSE OF HYDROLOCK IN THE CYLINDER WHICH CAUSED THE VALVE SHIM TO DISLODGE ITSELF. I SPOKE WITH PUTNAM YAMAHA AND CHAPLIN KAWASAKI AND MOTORSPORTS NATION, THEY ALL TOLD ME THE SAME THING, EVEN IF THE BIKE WAS SUBMERGED, I WOULD ONLY HAVE TO DRAIN OIL AND FLUSH THE ENGINE A FEW TIMES WITH OIL AND THEN IT SHOULD HAVE RAN FINE, WATER CAUSING THE VALVE SHIM TO DISLODGE WAS A BUNCH OF CRAP. HERE IS WHERE IT GETS EVEN BETTER, AFTER 5 WKS(4/17/10) FINALLY GO TO GET BIKE BACK, I WAS PRETTY FED UP WITH THEM BY THEN, I WAS EXPECTING THEM TO HONOR THE WARRANTY FROM THE INITIAL TOP END REBUILD, OR EVEN REDUCE THE CHARGES, BUT NO, $450 LATER, GOT THE BIKE OUT OF THERE AND I SWEAR TO NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. LESSON LEARNED, I HAD A CREDIT AT CENTRAL, TRIED TO SAVE A LITTLE MONEY, SHOULD HAVE TAKEN TO LANCE @ PUTNAM YAMAHA IN THE FIRST PLACE, I HAVE HAD MY BIKES WORKED ON THERE IN THE PAST WITHOUT A PROBLEM AFTERWARDS. LONG STORY SHORT, STAY AWAY FROM CENTRAL SPORTS FOR MAJOR WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE FOR YOUR BIKE.
