| This is a nightmare experience. The shop is
unresponsive, is not proactive, will not return
calls, will not listen to the owner and appears to
have very limited troubleshooting/repair skills. I
made an appointment to bring in my Artic Cat ATV
for repare. After two weeks I called the service
dept and was told they hadn't really had time to
look at it. I asked why they would make an
appointment if they were not ready to work on it,
they had no answer. I clearly defined the problem
with the ATV when I dropped it off. The mechanic
would not listen and spent time servicing the
carberator which could not have been the problem.
I carefully explained to him why that could not be
the problem. After the carberator was adjusted it
did not fix the problem (big surprise). After
another week of waiting they finally agreed that
it was the transmission (which what I told them in
the first place). According to their service
department they order a part then found out they
needed another part ordered that part then found
out they needed another. Then they found out the
last part could only be had in a kit. So evidently
they had to remove the previous parts and order
the kit. After two months I asked to speak to the
manager. I had the exact same experience as the
post on 2/06/09. The owner would not even listen
to me. He just kept telling me over and over again
that it was not their fault it was Artic Cats. I
ask if he was going to listen to me several time
and he refused. He finally said come get your ATV
I am done with it. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING IN HERE
FOR REPAIR. I suggest that if you cannot depend on
future service you should not buy anything here
either. I purchased my ATV here and I am sorry I
did. (07/28/2009) |

| I never felt like the sales person cared about me.
He didn't pay attention. It appeared he had some
other problem going on & didn't have time for me.
I bought another brand. Oh well. (03/25/2009) |

| John will give you a good deal on buying, but the
service department is lost. I brought my bike
there explained to two people what the problem was
and how I tried to fix it. They said the noise was
from a dry chain and charged me $107 for a
service. They told me the mechanic drove it. I
took it for a ride because I had told them I lubed
the chain trying to get rid of the squeal, and in
less than one minute it started squealing again.
This squeal is so loud I have had other riders
stop thinking I was beeping my horn to get their
attention. I bought the bike in with 997 mile,
after I took my test drive it had 998, so they
couldn't have checked it out too well. I was
complaining about them doing a service but not
fixing the original problem, the owner did not
even want to hear my story, he just shut me up
three times. I told John maybe if he would listen
to the conflicting information I was given maybe
he would understand, he still would not listen. I
told him to go away then, he told me he owns the
store and will stand there if he likes. Not the
best way to treat customers. They then opened the
door, put my bike outside and closed the door. A
fitting send off for the way I was treated. If you
can get your bike serviced elsewhere you could buy
it here, but I will not step foot in the place
again. The most unorganized service department I
have ever seen, and I have owned more than 40
bikes, 12 of them new. They can't even get their
stories the same. I also waited three plus hours
for my bike to be delivered when I bought it
because they forgot I was coming in. I watched the
bike, nobody was even prepping it until I
complained after two hours. (02/06/2009) |
