Took my Bandit 1200S, which I had purchased their,
in for a 15,000 mile full service today.
Picked up my bike and the aceleration was
non-existent. The engine stopped everytime I came
to a red light. I rode 3 miles, turned around and
took it back to the shop. Turns out, they had
reversed the spark plug wires after they replaced
the plugs during the service. This fixed the lag
and the stalling.
I left the dealer again. This time I got 4 miles
when smoke started billowing out of my bike. I
pulled over to find oil leaking profusely. I
turned around and drove back to the dealer. By
this time the dealer was closed so I left my bike
there.
Oh, I almost forgot. They broke the aluminum ball
off the end of the clutch handle, although they
did agree to split the cost on that one. (11/22/2008) |

The Sales people are alright but the owner is a
total jerk. I bought parts that disappeared as i
was jerked around for weeks with the service
department. As i waited for the parts my
motorcycle was already there for prior service and
i just waited for the parts to be installed. As i
was jerked around the owner decided to put a
motorcycle lean on the motorcycle without even
notifying me. I explained what was going on and he
didn't care what so ever. He threatened to sell my
motorcycle. Better yet when i asked for my money
back on the parts i purchased they said i never
paid or ordered them !!! for them which i know i
did, they eventually somehow found the parts i
ordered (though they said i didn't) but still said
i didn't pay for them. The owner is the lowest
grade of human being i've ever met. (06/18/2008) |

I asked for a simple tire change on my 06 GSX-R
600. No big deal in and out. About a month and a
half later the axel screw came off while i was
riding it!! I didnt even notice till i got to work
and a friend mentioned it. The screw came out a
ruined my front brake, When i told them what
happened, they told me it was over the thirty day
guarantee. They told me to talk to the owner who
refused to help me further more because i had a
few dings on the bike from a light drop way before
the tire change. He said that i crashed and was
trying to get free service. He was a jerk through
and through, didnt even try and help out in any
way. I walked away angry. (06/18/2008) |

The only negative thing I can think of is when my
bike stalled about a half mile away from the shop.
The fuel line had come loose, so I plugged it
back in - and rode home. These guys fixed the all
too well-known oil leak problem on my late model
V-Star, and shored up other leaks on the bike.
Regular servicing is a snap, the bike is always
ready when they say. Riding in without an
appointment for a tire change or chain adjustment
is no problem, they'll usually do it "while U
wait". Definitely recommended. (04/16/2009) |

it sounds like the bike had been previously
dropped and that's why the the aluminum ball broke
off of your clutch lever.i do agree the spark plug
wire issue was messed up, but the oil leak is kind
of interesting. did you ever find out what the oil
leak was caused by? (03/16/2009) |

Took my V-Max in to change my rear tire. When I
got the bike back, the rear brake housing cap and
a reflector on the radiator was missing. When I
confronted them, I was told that the mechanic
specifically remembered replacing the brake
housing cap and that the refelctor was already
missing. Since then I'ev been taking my bike to
Cal Coast in Ventura. no problems and love it! (01/11/2009) |
