North Ridge Yamaha & Suzuki is a true family run business. North Ridge is not a state of the art facility in a major market, but it is true to it's roots of a real motorcycle dealership that cares about the customer. The family which owns and operates North Ridge now has 5 generations of motorcyclists who are in the business because they love it. I was also sadened to see the negative post, but as the saying goes there are two sides to every story. I would encourage anyone visit North Ridge for their motorcycle / ATV needs.
After finding this On the net I was shocked, So I went to North Ridge to get their side of the story and confirmed it my self by looking at micro-fische in other sites, the 71 and 72 have the battery that they originally sold the customer, The second battery he bought was for a 73 and newer, there for the inability was on the customer this time!!! After knowing Ralph for 25 years and Brian for 15 their knowledge is the best around for Yamaha's and Suzuki's. Keep up the good work North Ridge and you will be around for another 35 years!!! They wouldn't say it but I could tell by the look on their face that they won't miss him.
They are poor in their ability to understand the correct way to handle their error...
Recently I ordered a battery from Brian the counterperson. His inability to understand they he had supplied me the wrong battery for a vintage 72 TS 250, was only surpassed by his denial that the listing in the Suzuki parts for that machine was incorrect. When I was provided him the correct number for the battery that fit my machine he was able to order it. He did not have it ready when I requested. When trying to make my unsatisfatory experience known to Ralph the owner, he stated there was never any return on electrical parts. He went on to share that he had paid not himself in over two years. It is unfortunate that they were unable to contact Suzuki Parts and make them aware of the error in the listing. This experience caused me to purchase a battery I did not need or want. Not receive the correct battery in a timely fashion. If a dealer makes an error from a Suzuki parts listing it would only make sense that they would make them responsible for this error. Instead they decided it was better/easier to allow me to be treated with careless disregard. My needs were not taken into consideration, a refund for the incorrect part would have saved me as a customer.
