People will fill you full of bull. Starting out at 14% intrest rate (Big Question Mark), we had to ask three times to check our credit, when finally we got it to 6%, one hour later when we were ready to sign the papers it was $2000.00 higher than spoke to us.. (Big Question Mark). They tacked on all the guards and three warrranties... (BULL MESS)... Now I've not even had it a year and the battery was bad from factory making it not shift out of first gear or showing high or low, and now my frontend is already out of alignment **horrible**.. Theres my feedback..
Rude as hell!! Price was $1000.00 higher when it was time to close the deal. Their feedback speaks for their service. Stated internet prices change on Monday. It was Thursday and drive from Atlanta. Total waste of time. All reviews are the near the same..
On Tuesday January 11, 2011 I contacted Southern Honda about a 2007 Honda VTX1300R Stock Number: HM07-410520 that was listed on their website for $5782.00. Salesman Calvin Steele assured me that the listing was correct and I made arrangements to drive 4 hours from middle Georgia on Saturday January 15, 2011 to purchase this bike. I kept in contact with Calvin during that week and even called him when I was 30 min. away. Upon entering the store Calvin informed me that my bike had a \"recent price change\" to $6782.00. I went to the front desk and told the receptionist I needed a manager to which she declined. As of today, January 17, 2011 Southern Honda still has this bike listed for the amount I wanted to buy it for.
May 11, 2010 To Whom It May Concern:: I am writing you regarding “EXTREME SAFETY CONCERNS” for individuals that have purchased Honda ATV’S, Dirt Bikes and Motorcycles from Southern Honda Powersports in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There have been many accidents and even deaths associated with this horrendous problem. Please distribute this email and ask anyone that has had an accident and/or been injured on any Honda vehicle that has been purchased between January 2004 thru the current date, that was purchased at Southern Honda Powersports in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to contact me at email@example.com . Lawsuits have already been filed and all indications are there are many more to come involving this situation that I have described below and other Safety related situations involving Southern Honda Powersports, Chattanooga, Tennessee and possibly American Honda Motor Co., (Motorcycle Division), Torrance, CA. You may know of someone that has had an accident on a Honda ATV, Dirt Bike or Motorcycle that was purchased at Southern Honda Powersports, Chattanooga, Tennessee (which may not have been their fault). I am not an attorney and I am not giving you legal advice but I am aware of situations, just as your are, such as, what that is currently going on with Toyota, where individual’s lives and/or their children’s lives have been placed at risk of injury or death through no fault of their own. I will be happy to give them the names and phone numbers of a few different law firms that have already filed suit or are preparing to file suit against Southern Honda Powersports. Please out of concern and in the interest of Safety, feel free to post this notice on any appropriate Website. American Honda Motor Co., Inc’s (Motorcycle Division) largest volume Motorcycle and ATV Dealer in the United States since 2004 (Big Red Honda dba Southern Honda Powersports), is located in Chattanooga, TN. Due to their huge discount pricing, people drive in and even fly in from all over the United States to buy Motorcycles and ATV’S from this Dealership. Here is where the problem exists. Southern Honda Powersports has sold and delivered to the public hundred and hundreds and probably even thousands of new Honda Motorcycles and ATV’S that were subject to Federal “Stop Sell Orders” and subject to Federal “Safety Recall Orders”, yet this Honda Dealership has knowingly and intentionally placed these new Honda vehicles in the public’s hands without the mandated Safety Repairs having been made. Our investigation, which consists of conversations and sworn Affidavits from both current and former Officers and Employees of this Honda Dealership, establishes beyond a shadow-of-a-doubt that their multiple violations of Federal Safety Laws has been taking place since early 2004 continually through February 2010. Also, Southern Honda Powersports has never followed American Honda’s Set-Up & Assembly procedures which have resulted in numerous accidents as these improperly assembled vehicles have been placed in the publics hands. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Motorcycles Division) has been aware of the situations (above) for years, yet has elected to do nothing to correct this situation because this is their largest single volume Honda Powersports Dealership in the United States. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Motorcycle Division) has intentionally attempted to “white wash” these Federal violations of Consumer Safety Laws and the improper set-up and assembly of new Honda vehicles by this Honda Dealership, thus placing American Honda Motor Co. Inc. (Motorcycle Division) themselves directly in violation of Federal Safety Laws administered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, by having not reported their largest single customer, Southern Honda Powersport’s blatant violations of Federal Safety Laws to these 2 Federal Agencies. Please review the (Attached) documents and you will have a much better understanding of what I am telling you. The above situation was first reported to NHTSA in mid 2007 and there has been no follow-up whatsoever. About 3 months ago, the decision was made to report Southern Honda Powersports and American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Motorcycle Division) yet again for the same continuing violations of these same Federal Safety Laws and Southern Honda Powersports improper set-up and assembly of new Honda vehicles (please see Attached documents). Considering that this Honda Dealership has delivered many new Honda vehicles to residents of your State, I am respectfully requesting that you on behalf of the Senator, request the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to immediately get involved in these hundred and hundreds of Federal Violations of Federal Safety Laws by both Big Red Honda dba Southern Honda Powersports and by American Honda Motor Co. Inc., (Motorcycles Division). I thank you in advance for being concerned enough to put forth an effort to assist in requiring that these 2 Federal Agencies do the job that they were mandated by the United States Congress and the United States Senate to do, to protect the Safety of the citizens of both your State and the Safety of the citizens from other States in this country that have purchased dangerous new Honda vehicles from this Honda Dealership. Please pay me the courtesy of copying me on your correspondence with these 2 Federal Agencies. Again, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your assistance in this very serious matter, in which peoples lives have literally been placed at risk. NHTSA.dot.gov Response Team Entered on 04/01/2010 at 12:38:02 EDT (GMT-0400) by firstname.lastname@example.org: From: ERNEST VICKERS III Comments: National Highway Traffic Administration To Whom It May Concern: The same fact below are true concerning new Honda Motorcycles that have been sold by the Honda Dealership below. Please file this as an \"OFFICIAL COMPLAINT\" with NHTSA. Thank You Very Much, Ernest Vickers III 423-255-3388 U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission 4330 East West Highway Bethesda, Maryland 20814-4408 To Whom It May Concern: The correspondence below is in reference to blatant intentional Safety Violations of the \"Consumer Product Safety Act\" by Southern Honda Powersports, Chattanooga, Tennessee, that also directly involve American Honda Motor Co., Inc., (Motorcycle Division)(1919 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA. 90501-2722) This one Honda Powersports Dealership has intentionally sold possibly as many as a thousand (or possibly more) new Honda ATV\'S to the public (with American Honda Motor Company\'s full knowledge of each and every sale) that were not suppose to be sold by any Honda Dealer until the \"Safety Recall\" defective parts were replaced, etc.. This American Honda Dealer, with blatant disregard for the public\'s Safety has been selling a multitude of these UNREPAIRED defective Hondas for the last 6 years in direct violation of the \"Consumer Product Safety Act\" with American Honda Motor Company\'s full knowledge of each and every sale of these defective ATV\'S, during this entire period of time. Both American Honda Motor Co. and Southern Honda Powersports has known beyond-a-shadow-of-doubt that lives have been intentionally placed at risk of \"Injury or Death\" yet American Honda Motor Company has done absolutely nothing to STOP this unconscionable public Safety risk that has continued for over 6 years by this American Honda Dealer. I think American Honda Motor Company is equally to blame for any injuries or deaths that have occurred on these unsafe Honda ATV\'S for having allowed this Honda Dealer to continue in business, though in direct violation of their \"Dealer Agreement\" with American Honda Motor Co. during this entire 6 year period of time. American Honda Motor Company is also equally to blame for any injuries or deaths that have occurred from these defective unrepaired ATV\'S for having not reported this Honda Dealer to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission at any time during the last 6 years, for the multitude of \"Safety Recall\" and \"Stop Sale Order\" that constitute nothing less than intentional violations of Law. I strongly would recommend that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission consider fining both Big Red Honda, LLC dba Southern Honda Powersports AND American Honda Motor Co. the maximum fine allowable by Law for multiple or repeat violations, for having violated the \"Consumer Product Safety Act\". You very well may find that American Honda Motor Company has also failed to inform the U.S. Product Safety Commission of many other American Honda Powersport Dealers that have blatantly violated the Consumer Product Safety Act with American Honda Motor Company\'s full knowledge of each and every sale that was in violation of said Act. Please file this correspondence as an Official Complaint with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Sincerely, Ernest Vickers III 4255 Obar Drive Chattanooga, TN 37419 423-255-3388 To Whom It May Concern: I was reviewing a few Honda \"SAFETY RECALL\" Bulletins last evening when I noticed that Honda expanded the language between the TRX420FE/FM #2 \"SAFETY RECALL\" Bulletin dated June 2008 and the TRX500FPE/FPM #1 \"SAFETY RECALL\" Bulletin dated October 2008. In the June 2008 \"SAFETY RECALL\" Bulletin Honda states: \"Any injury resulting from the sale or lease of an affected ATV, following notification of the defect, will be the dealer\'s responsibility\". Then in the October 2008 \"SAFETY RECALL\" Bulletin Honda expands that same exact statement as above to further say: \"and would constitute a violation of the Consumer Product Safety Act, potentially exposing the dealer to civil fines up to $100,000.00 for a single violation and up to $15 million for multiple or repeat violations\". I think that it is incredibly important that in the expanded statement American Honda makes in the October 2008 \"SAFETY RECALL\" above, American Honda acknowledges under the \"DEALER INVENTORY\" section, that if the Dealer does not repair the ATV before it is sold to the public and there is an injury resulting from that sale, then the sale of said ATV \"would constitute a violation of the Consumer Product Safety Act\". First, I don\'t think that there has to be an injury to be in violation of this Law thus be subjected to these civil fines stated above and secondly I don\'t think for a minute that American Honda can remove themselves from all liability and responsibility regarding their Dealer\'s actions under the \"Consumer Product Safety Act\" simply with the statement \"following notification of the defect\". I think American Honda has both a legal and a fiduciary responsibility to insure every American Honda Dealer complies with their \"Dealer Agreement\" with American Honda regarding proper assembly of all new vehicles and the proper handling and repair of new Hondas subject to \"SAFETY RECALLS\". Again I reiterate the fact that I think that it is incredibly important that in the expanded statement American Honda makes in the October 2008 \"SAFETY RECALL: \"would constitute a violation of the Consumer Product Safety Act\" clearly is an admission that American Honda deems the Dealer having not made the required Safety Repairs on the new Honda ATV that is subject to this Safety Recall, is a clear violation of the Consumer Product Safety Act. It is my opinion, American Honda had (and still has) a legal responsibility and certainly a moral responsibility to have reported to the \"U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission\" the intentional ongoing massive list of new Honda ATV\'S under \"SAFETY RECALL\" which \"Southern Honda Powersports\" (continually over a period of 6 years) intentionally sold in direct violation of the \"Consumer Product Safety Act\" thus placing in the public\'s hands, (with American Honda\'s full knowledge) new Honda ATV\'S in which the Safety defects had not been repaired at the time of delivery to the public, by \"Southern Honda Powersports\" nor has American Honda reported any such actions as above by any other American Honda Dealer, to the best of my knowledge. I think American Honda may very well be subject to the same civil fines as the dealer for having allowed the hundreds (and possibly thousands) of new defective Hondas to have been intentionally delivered to an unsuspecting public by this one American Honda Dealer over a six year period of time (with American Honda\'s full knowledge) and with American Honda having taken no steps whatsoever regarding corrective action concerning this massive unconscionable public Safety issue. Pug Vickers The paragraph below says what that I have contended all along, regarding the fact that every new Honda vehicle Southern Honda Powersports has ever sold should be \"Recalled\" by American Honda Motor Co in compliance with Federal Law. Pug Vickers It is not necessary that a collision or death has occurred or will occur as a result of the defect. The purpose of the Act is to provide owners with an adequate margin of safety to protect against vehicle failures, which are in and of themselves an accident under the Act, and which result in an unreasonable risk of personal or property damage. Entered on 02/24/2010 at 15:57:55 EST (GMT-0500) by firstname.lastname@example.org: From: ERNEST VICKERS III Comments: “Southern Honda Powersports is the World’s Largest Honda Powersports Dealer six years running” per their own marketing. Southern Honda Powersports is located in Chattanooga Tennessee and has sold approximately 40 to 50 thousand (50,000) new Honda motorcycles and ATV’S during the past 6 years, primarily throughout the Southeastern United States. Southern Honda Powersports has not followed Honda’s Set-up, Assembly and Safety Delivery procedures on the vast majority of these units, all of which have been sold one at a time to the public. After American Honda (the U.S. Distributor for Honda Powersports) personnel and their legal were advised of these Safety issues involving new Honda motorcycles and ATV’S sold by Southern Honda Powersports, and American Honda personnel and their legal being totally aware of a massive attempt to cover these Safety violations up through fraud and deceit by Southern Honda Powersports, American Honda has intentionally not recalled many thousands of new Honda Motorcycles and ATV’S that have been sold and delivered to the pubic by Southern Honda Powersports whereby Honda’s own Set-up, Assembly and Safety Delivery procedures have not been followed. Southern Honda Powersports, having not followed Honda’s own Set-up, Assembly and Safety Delivery procedures has placed an untold number of customers in possible harms way including possible personal injury or death resulting from these unconscionable actions. I can prove every word that I just stated above with actual documentation and affidavits from former employees of Southern Honda Powersports that have already agreed to cooperate because of the public risk involved here. The odds are high that anyone that purchased a new Honda motorcycle or ATV within 200 miles of Chattanooga, Tennessee (that has been injured or killed on their Honda motorcycle or ATV) during the last 6 years, that said motorcycle, or ATV very possibly was purchased from Southern Honda Powersports of Chattanooga, Tennessee. If an Attorney with your firm will simply take the time to talk with me at (423-255-3388) or correspond with me at email@example.com , Oh, just for the record, American Honda has recently awarded the people at Southern Honda a new location called Southern Honda Orlando. They make their money on the warranties. Come with cash and don't take the extended warranty or theft protection and you'll do well. Otherwise, they'll get rich on you.
Get you in then work out every dime before its over. Had several dealings with; the 1st couple times I give them the benefit of doubt, but then the last trip was the LAST trip, every time the cost was this amount & the price went up when I was ready to leave. After a phone call & Pre aporved an ATV, with a good credit score nearly 750 & the 3.9% special Honda was ofering they (Finance) stated they could not due anything about the interest rate of 14% . They make it sound good then get there money on the back in. Had to ask three (3) times to get my interest rate then back and forth for about two hours before could get the advertised rate Honda stated. They ware you out about all the extras well it's only 3 or 4 or 5 dollars more a month for that. You really need this insurance & extended warranty again hundreeds of dollars (700++ dollars). Even after saying no here we go again over & over & over. The ATV out the door would have been about 2300.00 but after there financeing about 4700.00 WOW !!!
Drove from Lenoir NC down to the dealership in Chattanooga Tennessee purchased a new 2007 500 RUBICON and if I ever need another 4 wheeler I'll go back to Chattanooga.
