(Richards Sports Shop rated 3/5 based on 22 review.)
I have bought several nits there over the past 25 plus years , great to deal with , I wouldn\'t go anywhere else.
Sounds to me like most of the complaints have been written by the same local person that obviously has an axe to grind. There are too many similarities amongst the letters and too many notations about\"the woman behind the counter.\" My experience with Richards has been directly opposite from these complaints. Always cordial, always helpful whether buying or just talking. We have bought gear and a sled from them and had our other sled repaired and serviced and are very happy with them. Thanks Greg and all. I\'m an avid Local snomwobiler, living just a few miles from Richards Sport Shop. I am constantly treated terribly. When I ask the price on a sled, they tell me their all marked. I\'ve asked for parts and told they aren\'t available, yet CatTrax had it to me 2 days after. The woman behind the counter is a piece of work - degrading, she ignores you while chatting with service about nothing... one of the rudest human beings on this earth and should never be representing any manufacturer. Finally, I stopped in at 1pm on a Saturday to look through the window and show my wife a new Polaris that had pink on it - all she wanted was a sled that was black and pink .I knew there was one there. I knew they were closed and wanted to show her through the window. We were there no more than 30 seconds and Greg came around the corner and told us to leave, they were closed. Do these people have any interest in making a sale? I\'m so happy we have a new sled dealer at Access Auto - maybe now Lincoln will experience true customer service. And if you need service, head to Rogers Small Engine - they are an amazing duo who know their stuff, and know customer service.
awsome ,, gives good buy\'s at good deals ! treats you good. fast work ,,
Last yer while in Lincoln area and doing some \"four wheeling\" I had a mechanical problems with my Polaris sportsman, I called Richards sport shop and asked if it was possible to have it looked at in a reasonable amount of time, as I was only there for a few days. I was told if I got it to them before closing time they would look at it first thing in the morning. I did and before noon the next day I got a call that my machine was all set. I try and do most maintaince myself and had caused the problem myself. A reasonable price for the service, super fast service. something I don\'t see here were I permanatly live. I am now looking to upgrade my machine and will deal with Richards (335 miles away)before I look here in Mass dealing with the Massholes. Richards see you soon! Len
I am a local and went into Richards to purchase a new Polaris fourwheeler for my family to enjoy. After looking at several, my wife and I picked out one we liked and went to talk to Gregg about purchasing it. I was told that there was no way I would qualify for Polaris/GE Moneybank financing (they would not even run my credit!). I was told to go the credit union and try to get a loan then Gregg would talk to me. I happen to have excellent credit! My wife and I drove for an hour to B&D Marine and bought a new Polaris 500 with GE Moneybank at 3.9% financing, so eat that Richards! We will never do business with you!
(See my earlier post for clarification) ps. I am from out of state. That didn't seem to matter to Richard's Sport Shop and according to these comments on this site living local doesn't either. Shame on the manufacturers that let people like this represent them and negatively effect their brand names.
I called for parts and immediately was made to feel like I was imposingm on the women who answered the phone. I had part numbers agreed to all charges such as shipping and handling to thier dealership and bent over backwards to try to purchase the parts. The women was rude and short with me and appeared to have little or no customer service skills. When I asked politely to talk to someone else there she hung up. I don't know what kind of atmosphere they have there but I promise you that I will not purchase parts or a
