poor poor poor customer service and complete lack of quality work.. consider all options prior to a visit at motorheads. I dropped off my sons 50cc wheeler and discussed having in diagnosed and repaired.. Jude the owner explained they will look at it and let me know prior to doing the repair. I get a phone call the next day from jude stating he has found the issue, he led on to tell me it was 75 dollar at that point and he did not have the time to find the part so if i find it and bring it to him he will finish the repair but it would be another 75 to put it back together regardless.. first why would you even take the wheeler if you do not have time to find the part.. thats the point of bringing it to a repair shop. I asked them to order the entire cluch and install it rather then find the little spring needed. so two weeks later i call to see if the wheeler is ready.. They lead on to tell me that the original sping that was broken had fallen into the engine so it would now be another 75 dollars because they had to remove it.. I go to the store in person to dispute the additional charges to the Jude the owner who specifically told me he would not perform any work without discussing it with me.. he had no iterest in hearing what i had to say and says good luck finding someone else who will work on a Baja atv.. im frustrated but pay the bill. he hands me the change and says owe and by the way the battery is dead so your gonna have to do something about that.. just rude and poor customer service.. so i look at the receipt and it states 1) stuck in drive check clutch 75 dollars 2) take the motor out and reinstall it again 75 dollars this is where it gets good 3) put motor back in the wheeler. 75 dollars 4) clutch assembly and oil 46 dollars i wish i could post the voice mail and a copy of the receipt on here.. but wait theres more i bring it home to find that they broke the fuel shut off and a small piece of plastic on one side.. then my son gets on the wheeler and takes off close by and the throttle is sticking.. I call back to jude and he says well bring it back down and he will fix the throttle.. I am alset ill cut my losses and take it some place else for repairs.. this is the first time i have ever posted something like this. i would not recommend motorheads for anything. customer service and quallity work are not a value of theres in my opinion..
