I absolutely love my '07 Yamaha 700 Grizzly. I ride in Chadwick, MO and there are some trceoheraus paths through forests, hills & over boulders. My Griz always pulls me thru. I love this machine but I hate it too. I ride pretty hard but these machines should be built to handle it. First the gas boiling cant be good. Second major prob is once iv'e been riding for awhile my Griz's electrical system thinks its in REVERSE, the R light actually comes on & off. When it does this it chokes it out. Here's why its dangerous, I will be riding up a steep monster hill with mud, rocks & tree roots then bam, the Griz thinks its in R. It doesnt physically go in reverse but the reverse limiter kicks on & you dont have the speed to get up the hill. I talked to my dealer & they changed some type of washer in the unit but the next time I rode it happend again. They state yamaha has no Recall on it so i guess im screwed not to mention its dangerous to ride. Anyone have any suggestions??
