It has a Independent Double Wishbone Front Suspension with 8.5 inches of travel. The Dual Shock CK Rear Suspension has 13.8 inches of travel with a Shock Mounted Adjustment. The FX Nytro XTX Backcountry has Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes.

The FX Nytro XTX Backcountry was introduced in 2008 and is Upgraded for 2012. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty.
