PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSI think you're right. It's just a little too exvpisnee and a little too extreme for the market. That same motor is used in the Deauville in Europe. That bike has integrated hard bags and the design is very nice. But no automatic. A two up solution I would recommend another Honda product the Honda ST 1300. This is a 4-cylinder fast machine. The police use it here in Arizona. I have a leg issue so bending past the 90-degree point is a no-go as is bike wt. I ride a Suzuki C50T nice.
I find that the bike has a very smooth ride with very good trtoaicn wet and dry. It is however a street bike and it will definitely bottom out the shocks if I hit a really bad pothole. I've ridden the bike (carefully) down dirt roads that were packed dirt not soft sand and it was fine. I would not ever try this bike in soft sand as I'd end up on the ground. As I mentioned, the DN01 is a street bike so it really is not meant for off road or rough road riding. Hope this helps
