QUESTIONS for the 2010 Honda Fury Base
2010 Honda Fury Base QUESTIONS Hello; Honda people. I have wanted to tell you this for a long time, and ask why you haven't changed the way your motorcycles are built. You need to stop trying to copy Harley D., Those bikes are a "Joke", even though I own one, Dana 07 St Bob. But I also have 86 Magna as well, one of your better motorcycles. You need to listen to your riders and find out what they (need)or want. Since you must not talk to them much . . . I will tell you what I would like to have in one of your motorcycles and would sell you a lot of Motorcycles. That V-65 Magna had one of the most beautiful gas tanks that ever set on a motorcycle, you need to bring it back with the 1 to 1 1/2 Gal reserve, just like the Magna had. Then have you forgotten why most guys -and girls drive bikes, it not only that they are fun to drive, but, that you are able to get a lot of distence for a verry little money. And what ever happened to your OVER DRIVES that is what sold me on the magna. I want Them back-5-gears and that good old OVER-DRIVE, there is nothing like it. I would like to see you come back with that beautiful Water Cooled V-4 that looked so very impressive, with 1650cc I would even be satisfied with A V-2, but not as much as the V-4s. I still remember that great shaft drive, so clean and quite and you didn't have to worry about your childrens feet getting caught in the chain. The fuel and the rest of the gauges even right to the trans mission gear selector. You Really had
had something with those V-65 Magnas. I also had 2006 V-Max up until I couldn't get use to the over heating problen, and the (5Speed)
transmission. Sure It ran OK if you could handle the over heating problem that the owners manual said, if it gets to hot while you are driving, just pull over and let it (Cool Off) what a joke!!! I sold that thing. I would Love to see each Muffler setting on each side of the of the motorcycle as the magnas had them placed, that looks so much better than two mufflers on one side. If harley Davidson made an Airplane would you Fly in one of them ha ha not me my friends. Start puttings those good heads togeter and
build America some more of those fine HONDA MOTORCYCLES. I would sell that hunk of iron harly davidson in a heart beat, to get one of those bikes like I just explanied to you
and believe when I say this, SO WOULD A LOT OF MY FRIENDS. We are ready to buy them right
now ! ! ! ! Please build us some right away.
Best Regards,
James Crist

Answer this question (06/30/2009 by James)
I really like the Fury styling but at 1312 CC, the engine for a chopper seems a little underpowered. Why didn't Honda put the VT1800 engine in the Fury. I believe it would have had more appeal competing with the larger displacement engines from HD and S&S, etc. Answer this question (05/26/2009 by Lance McMichael)
