The 2009 Yamaha Phazer RTX is a Trail Style Snowmobile equipped with an 499cc, Liquid Cooled, Parallel Twin, OHV, 4-Stroke Engine and a Continuously Variable (CVT) Transmission. It has a Independent Double Wishbone Front Suspension with 9.3 inches of travel. The Dual Shock CK Rear Suspension has 16 inches of travel with a Shock Mounted Adjustment. The Phazer RTX has Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes. The Phazer RTX was introduced in 2007 and is Carryover for 2009. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty.

2009 Yamaha Phazer RTX QUESTIONS
I am trying to weigh out the differences between the phazer and polaris swift 136" IQ. I live in Alaska where the snow will get chest deep in some areas. So my main concern is the track length. What I would like to know is how the phazer does in the deep compared to the IQ. Plus running costs, handling, and performance in general. Any input would be highly appreciated.
