PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSHave about 600+ miles on my new c3 and haven't had a bit of trouble. Gas mileage is fantastic, over 140mpg. Just great, most flat terrane, back roads; etc, driving. Don't have to worry about adding oil to gas, great looks. I added a windshield and rear luggage rack, with a metal basket. For zooming around town or checking mail or buying some groceries, can't be beat. Price of gas is going back up, so it will pay for itself in the long run. COMPLETELY happy with my new c3. I would highly recommend it. I do wish I had gotten the blue one, it's
a beauty.
2008 C3 New
It is flat in my area - no hills.
Kept the oil changed. Had to do a minor top off of the coolant at 5000 miles.
Flawless performance over the past year. I have put 5500 miles on it, and the only trouble I had was failure to start -- because I had bumped the kill switch :)
The speedometer is 'optimistic'.... says I'm doing a top speed of 43mph, but when clocked I'm only doing 38mph. As this is a moped, and limited to 35mph by law in my state, this is ok. I have not de-restricted it (yet).
Rear tire is showing wear, but I weigh 210, and the specs say max load is approx 180, so I won't fault the wear :)
Realize that, being a scooter, you go (almost) everywhere at full throttle, and this holds the mph down to 110-115!! Before I realized the speedo was fast, I obeyed the speed limits (not full throttle everywhere) and got 125 mph :)
Even after I upgrade to a motorcycle I will keep this for neighborhood trips. It’s a hoot!
