Review: I purchased a brand new 2009 Vespa S150 last August from HD Tucson - Now Vespa of Marana. While riding it home there was a mechanical malfunction and the back wheel went into an extreme wobble - road conditions, etc were perfect. I was dumped going 45 mph. Lucky for me I was just badly bruised but the bike was totalled. HD took the bike back and "could find nothing wrong." (I even had someone who witnessed this!) I wrote letters to both the heads of HD and Vespa. HD never responed. The President of Vespa USA called to tell me that the accident was my fault as I was "inexperienced" and that anyone could ride a Vespa. Even the best manufacturers have off days and once in awhile a lemon is born - at least be "man enough to make things right!"
Features: None!
Improvements: HD and Vespa both could use some extreme makeovers in the customer service department. They were all friendly and buddy buddy to sell me the scooter but totally dissed me when something major went wrong. Will I ever buy another Vespa or even consider a HD? NO WAY! Vespas are overpriced and so not worth it. Don't get burned like I did! There are other manufacturers out there who would like to have me as a valued customer - this is probably why HD sales have tanked.
