PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSPurchased a (new) 2008 leftover silver Norge from Spitzie's M/C Center in Albany, NY in May 2009. Traded in my '07 H-D FLHT for the Norge. I love the Guzzi - confidence- inspiring ride; decent wind protection; good reach to bars, but sometimes feels slightly cramped to foot-pegs (I'm 5'10" with a 31" inseam); spacious side bags (haven't removed from bike yet, I hear it can be challenging until you get the system down). Motor pulls good through the 6 gears.
Issues to date, with approximately 3.5k miles on the clock:
Had it back in shop soon after pick-up for a faulty windshield (gets stuck and up/down switches won't raise/lower)
Had faulty fuel gauge replaced under warranty;
Developed small leak on top of CARC shaft drive assembly near seam in the case; my local mech said they have seen a few Guzzis this year with same problem, nothing major, either bolts needs tightening or gasket replaced.
Good ride 400 km befor the fuel light cums on
3 hrs in the saddle was enough, great wind protection. read reports about how easy it was to scrap center stand scraped it once on standard rear set up but once rear shock was tightened up no more scrapes and you can realy get it over!Plenty of power great sound good value.
I have put 6500 miles on my Norge and have found it to be a great ride. I love the comfort, wind protection, style and most of all the wonderful Guzzi sound. I have had no problems other than a bad fuel guage which was repaired immediately under warranty.
