PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSMy third Harley and 2nd Road King. Great improvements over previous years.
Sold my 2004 Road King and purchased my 2009. I spent numerous days and hours test driving numerous models and ended up right back with the Road King again. The 2009 is a great bike and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and really appreciate the improvements.
What a Motorcycle !!! , backrest thrown in with the deal from frasers sydney Australia ,in order to sway me in purchasing the Pewter Pearl one that was there in a creat , rather than waiting to get in a Black one ( 2-3 months )( rack bought extra $380AUD ). After cracking her crate open myself , peeling of the plastic & seeing the colour up close ( AWESOME ), how could i not accept the $26,500 trade for my 2007 Heritage which i might add , is only half the Bike the Road King Classic is , I feel this is the Best Motorcycle for the price , on offer in 2009 so far , so I say , Now What will the " Harley Haters " have to say about it ! Not Too Much I Suspect ?
I've been driving for more that 30 years and I always convinced myself I didn't need a Harley. 11 months ago I bought a V-Star and ten months later traded it in on a Road King Classic. The 2009 is perfect! The looks, soound and feel are excellent. The classic is nicely equipped although they should throw a passenger back rest and luggage rack in for the price. The color, Blue Flame, is awesome. It was definitely worth the wait.
Great improvements on the 09. Rides well, great handling in the corners, good power, comfortable ride, awesome ABS brakes.
