2008 Yamaha Vino 125 REVIEW
Fun ride for trips around town

Review: This Vino 125 is one of the best purchases I've
ever made. It saves gas and time plus it's very
fun to ride & has good acceleration. I'm 6' 2" -
200 lbs, but the Vino 125 feels comfortable for
me. I have a 750 cc cruiser that I take on the
highway to work, but I ride this around town
because of the excellent maneuverability and ease
of carrying light cargo. The flat foot board is a
plus over the Vespa 150 for putting grocery's
aboard and at about $1000 less, I couldn't justify
the extra money. The Vino cruises nice up to 40 -
45mph, but it's not a highway bike. I have over
7000 miles on mine and the only problem I've had
was a bolt backed away from the frame where the
tail pipe clamps on and this split the tail pipe
from the muffler. I had it welded back for about
$40 - a lot cheaper than a new muffler. Features: Flat floor board & Retro appearance. It's small enough to park on the side walk without getting a ticket (so far). Improvements: A high gear for short trips on the highway (06/30/2008 by Steve D)
