It has a Telescopic Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Single Sided Swing Arm. The Burgman 400 has Front Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes. The Burgman 400 weighs 438 lbs. and has a ground clearance of 4.9 inches. The Burgman 400 was introduced in -10019- and is Carryover for 2008. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty.

Review: Everything has been perfect up to last night.Turned unit off. attempted to restart and hour later. Nothing. no read out nothing.I tested battery had full charge. Today I went on line for prev recalls. I found one very similiar as of as of Aug 29th 2005.(please read below) Has any new Burgman 400 owners experienced anything like this? Recall ID #41426 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH Summary ON CERTAIN SCOOTERS, IF THE IGNITION SWITCH IS NOT FULLY TURNED FROM THE 'OFF' TO THE 'ON' POSITION, THERE MAY BE UNSTABLE CONTACT BETWEEN THE IGNITION SWITCH CONTACTS. THIS CAN CAUSE ARCING IN THE IGNITION SWITCH. Consequence HEAT FROM THE ARCING CAN MELT THE INTERNAL SWITCH BASE PLATE. IF THE SCOOTER IS RIDDEN IN THIS CONDITION, THE IGNITION SWITCH MAY FAIL. IF THIS HAPPENS, THE ENGINE WILL STALL, THE LIGHTS WILL GO OUT, AND THE OPERATOR MAY BE UNABLE TO RESTART THE SCOOTER. THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

I have been ready, willing, and able to buy one, IF I can find one. too bad they dropped the ball on this I live in central FL and there are NONE to be had in FL, GA,TX,SC, or AL BELIVE me, I checked. no more coming in. I am on long waiting lists at 11 dealerships its just rediculous. everyone has to wait for the 2009's no one knows when that will be. It really sucks! My car died, and I need transpo. so (sigh) I guess I'll just have to buy a car. makes me nucking futs!Answer this question
