PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSIn my experience, this bike is a blast to ride. I don't have much experience with other bikes so take that for what it is worth. I will say that the gearing takes some getting used to. 1st and 2nd require care to avoid jerking on up / downshifts, but once I learned the proper riding technique for this bike, not a big problem.
Watch out for the oil leaking reports, I think these folks are not checking their oil correctly and are overfilling it. I have not had any oil leakage at all in 600+miles. Read the manual for proper oil level check procedure because it may not be intuitive if you just do what most other vehicles suggest.
Great looking bike and it will pull away from most other bikes with ease. Shifting has not been too bad but it is a bit heavy sometimes, it might loosen up over time with use. 37 mpg was the best I logged so far so if you are looking for mpg, may not be the bike for you. Lot of plastic parts but to me that means no rust.....Looks great so I don't really care.
Hope this helps
