PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSPARTS/ACCESSORIESREVIEWS/AWARDSI currently own an Aprilia Scarabeo 50 (4 stroke) back home and I just bought a Kymco Super 9 yesterday. As far as comfort goes, the Aprilia is more comfortable and definitely a much smoother ride. The Kymco's handling is impressive and I feel like I am always in control of the bike. Due to Hawaiian laws, it must be restricted; needless to say, I am getting it de-restricted tomorrow. It only tops out around 30mph right now. I am expecting it to cruise at around 45 onces it's derestricted, which is a solid 5mph faster than the Scarabeo. Acceleration: Restricted, the Super 9 really gets up and goes. It is definitely quicker than the Scarabeo in low end power. One thing that I noticed is that it really holds its speed well going up hills, only slowing down to about 25 on the very steepes hills, unlike the Scarabeo getting down to around 15 up really steep hills, even with momentum. I feel like I am going to die which I am going 30 mph and cars are flying around me, so for my safety sake, I have to get it de-restricted. So far, I have been satisified by the Kymco and I am really looking forward to untapping more of the power that I know is hiding.
