The 2008 Honda TRX 400EX is a Sport Style ATV equipped with an 397cc, Air Cooled, Single-Cylinder, SOHC, 4-Stroke Engine and a Manual Transmission. It has a 4X2 driveline. The TRX 400EX has a Independent Double Wishbone Front Suspension with 8.2 inches of travel while the Swing Arm Rear Suspension has 9.1 inches of travel. The TRX 400EX has Front Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Rear Disc Brakes. The TRX 400EX was introduced in -10019- and is Upgraded for 2008. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty.

Review: i have a 2007 black 400ex and ive done some simple mods to it and i keep up with every 450 but the yfz and canam, i have a 4" K&N car air filter, jetted stage 3, full big gun evo x exaust system without silencer, renthal bars and holeshot sr's on rear. So its all in the way you drive it...if you know how to drive and your on a 400 you should be able to keep up with a moderate skilled person on a 450.

Improvements: needs a 6th gear :P

I am disappointed in this bike I have had mine for six months and already regret buying it go with a 450r if you don't want to be beat by everyone

Review: This bike is fun to ride when your by yourself but put it up against some competition and you will be beat. Its the only air cooled 400 made and it still costs as much as all the others I wouldn't recommend this atv to anyone unless you will be riding by yourself.

Features: It looks cool.

Improvements: Needs liquid cooled motor give it some more top end and more horsepower.

How does it do on real tight turns? What is it's top speed? Is it realilbe? If the Susuki QuadSport Z400 raced the Honda TRX400EX and both had pro riders on a rough turrain,which would win? What about on a smoother terrain? Which has the better suspension?
