Review: Another homerun for AC. We have a 2007 model with
about 1500 pretty hard miles. We have had almost
no trouble with it. It's a little sluggish on the
throttle response and won't quite hang with a
Grizzly on the top end but will top the 60 mph
mark if your into that. Its a good mud and rock
machine and rides fair. The handle bars have a
bend that promotes aggresive and stand-up riding,
great when mudding or rowing through the rocks. Features: Loads of ground clearance and huge racks, not dorky huge, but bigger than the rest. Instant and on the fly 4x4 engagement. I was suprised how many makers lack on that. If you live in cold country you'll appreciate the storage box where the fuel tank used to reside. 2005-2007 models have splash gaurds in the front wheel wells that retain the heat from the engine making that storage box a great place to warm up some extra gloves or your lunch. Improvements: As a general rule stock tires on a 4 wheeler are substandard and this machine is no exception. Toss the stockers, put on a set of Mudlite XL tires and that AC heavy steering will be a distant memory. It will go places in 2 wheel drive that needed 4 wheel before and the ride improves significantly. They need to move the air intake from the grill to a higher location in case that water wheelie goes bad. It's a bit of a nose diver on hard corners. AC has resolved this for the 2009 models. Review: I have had my 650 H1 since last part of feb,no
problems to date i have around 300 miles on it.The
650 H1 has more than enough power for me,the ride
is a little stiff on stock settings but 6 ply
tires don't help any.I took it in for the 1 st
service at 10 hours and check up,the dealer had
fast service and did quality sevice. If anyone
looking for a good atv look at Arctic Cat atvs, and
if your in Charleston ,South Carolina area and

have you had any transmission problems with this fourwheeler? Also, any problems with overheating, idle, etc.?? Answer this question (07/25/2009 by Jared)
Is the 650 H1 ONLY availible in automatic transmition?
Are the Arctic Cat automatic transmitions very trustworthy? (How much wear and tear can they take?) Answer this question (07/13/2008 by Joey) Answers 1 - This was the first CVT I've bought. Our is ridden hard with out regard to the belt and has been bomb proof. AC has a great system that doesn't eat belts. Don't be afraid of these things, I'll buy a CVT over a 5 speed any day.
