PAYMENT CALCULATORKEY DIFFERENTIATORSVIDEOREVIEWS/AWARDSLike the bike, but having trouble restarting after engine has run for an hour or so, and if it's hot outside. Also, the gas evaporates a lot for the tank if left in the sun long. For example, I normally switch to reserve at 140 miles, but if the bike sets in the sun for the afternoon, I switch to reserve at around 105. That's a lot of wasted fuel....
Great riding bike. I also one a 83 Honda GL 1100 Aspencade. The VStar is just plain fun.
Solid bike for short rides. A little weak on power and acceleration. Could use an overdrive gear for highway. Looks great!
I have the 2007 VStar 1100 Silverado which is based on the Classic. It is very easy to ride, has plenty of power and is a really good looling bike. I have put over 4K miles on it this year and I have had no problems at all. Also, there are tons of aftermarket accessories for this bike so you can really have fun customizing it to fit your tastes.
