the phazer is a great sled for beginners or like our family moms it offers a very smooth ride over bumps and has just enought power to give the thrill they look for...

Bought new Oct/06. Took awhile to get used to as shocks had been set to most rigid setting and not caught at pre service inspection. Felt like it was going to flip on bumpy trails. Also, due to small track, it is not effective at trail breaking. Icing is also a big problem due to muffler over open track. Took it in for oil change in Oct/07; was told that Yamaha would pay for plate to enclose tunnel, would start calling customers in January or I could wait till next oil change. I called dealer in Oct/08 for oil change & plate; was told that it was a limited time offer that expired. Bought 3 new machines from them in 12 months and this is how they treat you.
