SUMMARYThe 2007 Polaris Scrambler 500 is a Sport Style ATV equipped with an 499cc, Liquid Cooled, Single-Cylinder, DOHC, 4-Stroke Engine and a Continuously Variable (CVT) Transmission. It has a Selectable 4X2 / 4X4 driveline.
The Scrambler 500 has a McPherson Strut Front Suspension with 8.2 inches of travel while the Swing Arm Rear Suspension has 10.5 inches of travel. The Scrambler 500 has Front Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes. The Scrambler 500 was introduced in -10019- and is Carryover for 2007. Sand, gravel, or dirt doesn't slow the 4x4 down, and the ability to take on mountain climbs and winding ledge trails is the reason I switched from a 700 sportsman. The lighter bike is both powerful and nimble, a valuable combination for day-long rides in the desertor mountains. Best of both worlds. The lighter bike doesn't sap energy like the heavier 4x4's.
