Just before I bought the Vulcan 2000, I own a Vulcan 1600, which was very good , but I wasn't happy with it on the highway 75-80 mph. Then in January 2009 I crashed into a SUV and it was totaled, but I was Ok and a week later bought the 2000. It has surpassed my expectation in everyway, even the price was a deal at $10,000. Once you get used to the weight the bike is great.
