My first opinion of the bike is that it has a very light feel to it for a 250 machine 97KG to be exact. I am only an every day rider and not a pro. Power delivery for me is exiting especially when you get the mid range sting and the massive and long top end. Bottom end power out of a birm is a little hesitant but only requires the slightest touch of the clutch and and all hell breaks loose! Suspenion is very impressive and I have over jumped a few times, but found the 48mm Kayaba forks and rear shock and spring on this bike handle it really well! I owned a 1996 CR 250 before this bike and that thing was posessed. I loved the bottom end power on the CR but my new KX is a lot easier to put to the ground thoe! The on board Micro Computer smoothes it all out. Don't get me wrong thoe this bike will still get you in to trouble real quick smart and is not for the faint hearted!!
