| Review: This was at one time the flagship for Yamaha and
was called "royalty" for good reason. This is
definitely a touring machine. Its low center of
gravity makes it manuaver much better than the 800
lb. gorrilla sort of mystic some might think it
has. Only concern was paid same 07 price in 08 |
| Features: Integrated cruise control is probably one of the better features since it is not found on all bikes and when touring is a great feature to have. More importantly 5 year warranty and roadside assistance is something to consider |
| Improvements: Everyone says it is the need for fuel injection not needed if you understand the bike and its purpose. While not a off the line speed demon it pulls great. Improvements well I have never seen a real good factory seat for the most part and that is not a creature comfort sort of thing but a very important ingrdient to a great bike. |

| Review: Top of the line Yamaha motorcycle. Pulls strong
with about 95 ft lbs of torque and around 100
horse power on a 850 lb+ bike. Great for two-up
riding on long runs. The bike sounds tame for the
power it displays but after-market pipes will fix
that with some carb adjustments. |
| Features: Good aerodynamics
Great seating posture for 5'9", 32" inseam
Ideal bagger
Quick release windshield and passenger back rest
Strong
Easy maneuverability
Cruise Control (a real one) |
| Improvements: More aftermarket accessories that are non-Yamaha
Better fuel gage (guessing game)
Easier accessability to sparkplugs
Quieter Transmission clutch
Louder pipes
A full 6-gallon tank |
