| 2007 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic TRV Plus QUESTIONS |
|
| Just purchased a 2005 trv. Has very loose steering. Hard Machine to handle at speeds. Steering jumps from left to right almost taking the bars out of your hand. Is there a fix for this problem? Seems to me that the upper ball joint needs to be strait up from lower or even back alittle to help stability. After riding other atv at speeds the arctic cat can get scarry... | Answer this question | | (12/21/2008 by chad humphries) | |

| My 400 4wd actuator is not working will neither go into or out of 4wd but the console says 4wd when I flip the switch. I took it apart and if I put pressure on the mother board connected to the motor it will run. When I put the cover back on it will not run. Can I get just the motor or is it all one unit to replace. There are it appears only screws holding it in place , and an electrical connector to disconnect. Is this a chronic problem with Arctic Cat?
Thank You | Answer this question | | (11/15/2008 by Jack Mar) | | Answers | | 1 - Have you solved this problem?I had that too.I had to change the actuator. You might also try to remake the meld for the motor's contacts. |

| I have an 2006 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 with 28 miles on it. I bought it from a buddy that never used it. I took the machine to the shop and had a full tune up done, new oil, battery, fluids, everything. I took it out in the mud and water on our lease this past weekend and it didnt act well in water. It seemed to bog down very quickly and would die as I came up out of water. I would hold the throttle down and couldnt get power to pull through. The water was not even to the muffler maybe 2- 2 1/2 deep so I know that it should be able to handle water deeper than this? I was wondering if there was any one else that had experienced an issue like this one. I am a duck hunter so a machine that doesnt like water is a big issue for me. Thanks for your imput...
| Answer this question | | (09/25/2008 by Tim) | | Answers | | 1 - How fast are you going in the water? I bird hunt up in Northern Ontario Canada and sink it rack deep often and it always pulls me out. Oh....is it automatic or manual??? |

| I know of three people who own 2005 500 TRV's and 1 with a 2004. All have experienced bad exhaust heat on the left side of the motor on the drivers left inside part of his leg.
Is there a fix or solution?
I have orders some heatshield material but need to find plastic body panels to attach it to and then attach to vehicle and keep it removable for engine service.
Otherwise a great vehicle for my use.
Approximately 3000 miles on it. | Answer this question | | (09/08/2009 by Roger Kadrlik) | |
